Looking For Space John Denver

A hundred years ago, when I was young, this song reassured me that I wasn't the only lost soul in the world.

When I heard that John Denver had been killed in a plane crash I cried.
It is 14 years ago today, and I still cry.

I love that song. For the most part I loved all his songs. I still listen to them and sing along. I think he was a great musician who died way too young.

I didn't appreciate John Denver until I was older. I love that Christmas movie he was in but I can never remember the name of it.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and for your kind words!

What happened to your December posts??

I came across this just now and thought of you:
"Of course, I enjoy planned (or unplanned) cheats to help stimulate a little leptin production. Leptin, as you already know, tends to drop when we don’t consume carbs, sugar, or when we are fasting or restricting our calories."

In semi-related news, and not to demean John Denver AT ALL - I enjoy those of his songs I've heard but just couldn't find your leptin reset post - Cheeseslave is having wild success against her belly fat/low leptin with a combination of TONS of grain foods (!!), "cat barf" excercise a la Tim Ferris, kettle balls, and some kind of a squeezy girdle thing.
I've adapted that to more rice and potatoes, and lifting a toddler. Very primal ;)

Listened to a lot of John Denver as a teenager. Still love his songs. Thanks for your post - not sure how I got here, but will return, your quotes tell me you will be worth following!
